Chez Dood was founded by Dora Szalai aka Dodo, a Budapest-based pastry chef, who decided almost a decade ago that she wanted to make the most exciting macarons in the world. Chez Dodo, right in the historic center of Budapest, has been a mainstay in the city’s culinary scene ever since, praised and frequented by locals and visitors alike, awarded by professional connoisseurs and rating sites as well.
The highest quality of ingredients are used to guarantee a superior gourmet experience. The ganache of the macarons is made exclusively of Valrhona chocolate, with no sugar or artificial flavours added. The fruity macarons are made exclusively from fresh fruits and Boiron purées. Besides macarons, a wide variety of classic French desserts is also available, like mignons, madeleines, canelés or financiers.

A signature dessert from Bordeaux, made according to the traditional recipe in beeswaxed red copper molds. The pastry is buttery and infused with vanilla and rhum. Crunchy on the outside, smooth and tender inside.
